Lidice
The monument of Lidice is a reminder of the Nazi occupation during World War II. The horror of the occupation was emphasised here by the liquidation of most of the inhabitants of the village of Lidice as revenge for the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich. 20 km northwest of Prague. We recommend combining the visit with an excursion to Terezín.
