Lednice - Valtice Area
The LEDNICE – VALTICE AREA is a designated UNESCO biosphere reserve. It lies in the wine-growing region of Pálava. Tourists are naturally attracted to the Valtice and Lednice chateaux. This extensive Baroque complex situated close to the Czech-Austrian border consists of various chateau buildings, garden structures, and decorative sculptures of various styles, all set amidst ponds, rare trees, and greenhouses with tropical plants.
