The construction of the golf course, designed by Kamil Pilát and Chris Johnson started in 1997. In 2001 the first 9 holes of a champion course were completed and in 2004 this course was extended to become an 27-hole course. In terms of its character, the golf course is a combination of a park-style and a links-style golf course and can be classed as in terms of its difficulty. The biggest challenge is usually coping with displeasing roughs and holding the approach shots on fairly hard greens. There are now 3 separate nines that can be combined to 3 different rounds. The amenities include a 300 metre long driving range, 9 hole public course, practice area, hotel, restaurant, heated swimming pool, club and cart hire, 3 tennis courts, horse riding school and a small bowling alley.
