The golf course was opened in 1993. The course was designed by Canadian duo Les Furber and Jim Eremko. The wooded hilly landscape, with limestone outcrops and rich flora and fauna, is an oasis of peace and quiet, and yet is only a few minutes drive from central Prague. The broken terrain, natural gorges, two lakes and many sand traps create a very pleasant enviroment that will satisfy even the most demanding of players.
The architects designed the course as “easy bogey but difficult birdie”, with the result that players with very different handicaps can play the course. In 1997, the course hosted a tournament of the European PGA Tour and Bernhard Langer lifted the trophy, setting a course record with a final round of 63. All the usual amenities you would expect to find at a quality golf course are there, and there is no need to worry about the level of service.
